Printing from remote desktop in WM and GE LIW rooms
ITServices have now set up network printer queues for the printers located in both the William Morris (WM403) and George Eliot (GE333) LIW touch down offices. These will enable you to print directly from your laptop to the laser printers in these rooms. I have attached a guide containing screenshots which should enable you to set up the additional printers yourselves within the remote desktop connection.
Please note that as you can print to these printers from where ever you happen to be connected at any time, anywhere in the world then please DO NOT SET THIS PRINTER AS DEFAULT as any accidental print jobs may waste large quantities of paper that you would not be aware of and could seriously inconvenience colleagues who may be using the rooms at the time. Please choose the printer for the specific print job at the time.
