Nicole has been working in out-of-school education as a training expert and consultant for over ten years. At J.W. Goethe-University in Frankfurt (Germany) she completed her studies to become a teacher in secondary schools (up to A-level). Following her experiences of being a teaching fellow in Frankfurt she has now started a PhD in the CURLIEW project in Coventry. Her research interest concentrates on the impact of teaching in immersive worlds on learner (and teacher) identity and how students and teacher use the “new” opportunities of learning and cooperation. Besides she likes cooking and baking and will introduce the team to some nice German cakes.
