Matt Mawer

Matt is a PhD student on the CURLIEW project, exploring students’ perspectives on the use of virtual worlds as learning technologies in UK Higher Education. He graduated in BSc Forensic Psychology, and subsequently in MSc Social Research Methods, at the University of Teesside before joining the Learning Innovation team in January 2009. His academic interests are multidisciplinary, but currently focus on the use of technology in education and qualitative research methodologies. Out of the office Matt can be found playing golf, linedancing, and plugging into the Xbox.
