Frances is an educational development consultant at Oxford Brookes University in the Oxford Centre for Staff and Learning Development. She has a first degree from University of Manchester, a Masters from the University of Kent and a PhD from Coventry University. She has worked and researched learning innovation since 1990, initially in Modern Languages and Geography and latterly in Higher Education development. She is a Fellow of the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA) and Chair of SEDA’s Scholarship, Research and Evaluation Committee, as well as a member of the iPED pedagogical research group.
