Podcasting book
That wonderful book that I showed at today’s meeting is Podcasting for Learning in Universities and it has an associated website (click the title).
Tools for Podcasting
I have added to Curve the tools that they recommend for recording podcasts, Audacity and an associated file that needs downloading too. I’ve used Audacity and it’s free and easy to use.
In Curve, it’s entitled “Tools for Podcasting”, or podcasting as a key word will get them.
CUOnline VLE Module Tuneup
SoftChalk evaluation
I’ve used SoftChalk to create a learning object - CUOnline VLE module tuneup (now in Curve, username and password needed), containing an image hotspot quiz, self test questions and an embedded movie that was created using Adobe Captivate. The LO was inspired by something Imran said about hiding Course Tools during the “Ten Tips” session that we gave.
