“New tools new options…”

CSHE Lunch-time Seminar
“New tools new options for learning technology”
This was held on: Friday 28th November 2008 in CAW Seminar Room

Led by: Andy Syson, Anne Dickinson, Kathy Courtney (CSHE)

The session’s main purpose was to inform about newly available software for:

  • creating interactive online content (SoftChalk),
  • allowing students to contribute to online course content (StudyMate Class Server)
  • marking online submissions of student work using new features of Turnitin.

Also, to find out:

  • how a blind student accesses CUOnline.
  • the location of the re-organised and updated resources relating to online support and help materials for staff and students.
