LIW JISC Funded Conference
The Location Independent Working (LIW) project team is holding two JISC-funded conferences to disseminate the results of our work. These conferences will be of interest to any institutions considering introducing ore flexible working arrangements for faculty and academic department based staff (academic and non-academic).
The Conferences will be held at:
- Coventry University, 27th March 2009
- Leeds University, 2nd April 2009
See below for more details.
We will be looking at LIW from a wide range of perspectives including those of the LIW workers themselves, their managers and their students. LIW benefits and costs will be discussed in terms of financial and environmental savings as well as from an HR perspective. Technical support, facilities, briefing and training and pedagogic implications will also feature.
