Please see this example of asynchronous online tutoring. It’s from a conference paper called ‘Beyond Time & Place: Multimedia
Tools for the Online Writing Center.’

Let me know if you’d like to discuss this approach for the COWL Project.
Thanks! Mary.

Here are the key questions informing the production of the first output for Workpackage 3: The Pedagogic Approaches Report (due 1st May).
Who is your favourite scholar on teaching theory?
Which researcher or theorist in your field influences you most?
Which publication would you recommend to a colleague who is new to teaching in HE?
What are your concerns when teaching in an online forum?
Which theme or issue would you like to see addressed in the Pedagogic Approaches Report?
What is the main challenge for your students in terms of their academic writing?
Please email your thoughts to Mary by Monday 13th April via: m.deane@coventry.ac.uk
Thanks!
Mary.
