Here’s how you can use the print options to print a set of pages onto A3 in colour. It is particularly useful for a document that is a multiple of 4 pages as there are fewer sheets of paper to manage.
In the print dialogue box, use the following options:
Name: ColourSingle (you change the size later)
Scaling: Fit to printable area
Click the Properties button.
In the Document Properties window:
Paper/Quality tab:
choose A3
Finishing tab:
tick Print on both sides
Booklet layout: choose Left Binding
Pages per sheet: 2 pages per sheet (should appear)
Click OK to get back to the print dialogue box. Then… OK to print.
It may take some time.
